CHAD, CENTRAL AFRICA
Thank you for praying for us- it really makes a difference! You can pray for the following: SPECIAL NOTE: Currently political tensions in Chad present an unknown future for our work. Please pray for peace in Chad. In Feb 2008 armed conflict rocked the capital city of Chad and left in its wake underlying tension and instability. 1. Our local FM radio station continues to expand and influence the capital city of N'Djamena. A second station has been approved by the government for Moundou, the second largest city in Chad. It is becoming the most popular radio station in N'Djamena, the capital city of Chad. Many are saying it is the only station that offers any hope. Muslims are listening to our broadcasts as well. Pray that we will have quality programs and a solid follow-up system to conserve the harvest we are seeing. 2. Pray for our daughters, Gwen and Beth as they remain in the USA. This is a challenging transition for them as they have grown up in Africa. Beth just completed her studies at Northwest University, majoring in English and TESL. Gwen is married and living in the Seattle area with her husband Kenn Jones. They need courage, wisdom, and strength. Pray for an understanding of God's call on their own lives. 3. We are developing the campus for the Bible Institute. This is a completely new venture and presents a great challenge to us. Pray that we will have the wisdom, financial resources, and vision necessary to see this through. The first class of students are due to arrive this Fall of 2008. NOTE: There are over 80 unreached people groups in Chad. The Assemblies of God work is small but growing. It is a hard place, but we serve a BIG God!
THANK YOU! YOUR PRAYER DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
