 STILLWATER MUSIC

"The hidden power of praising God opens up the pathway by which all that He is affects all that we are." Stormie Omartian (from her book "The Prayer that Changes Everything.)

At Stillwater Hill Community Church, we endeavor to lead our congregation, through music, to open that pathway in which we each can express our worship and praise to God, and receive from Him all that He has for us, so that we can be all that we can be for Him.

A typical worship service at Stillwater consists of contemporary worship songs you would hear on the radio, as well as classic choruses and hymns -- bringing variety to the broad spectrum of age groups within the church family. We believe that the best way to worship and praise is through each person not just listening to a performance, but entering into singing songs with their own voices. With that in mind, we do our best to make sure that the average voice can sing the songs chosen.

We begin our Sunday services with a few praise songs to begin preparing our hearts and minds to receive what the Lord has for us. After the Pastor brings God's Word to us, we close the service with a time of worship and reflection. This gives the Holy Spirit an opportunity to reinforce the Word brought by the Pastor as well as other things the Lord may be speaking to each of us about.

No matter if you are seeking, a new believer, or seasoned in your walk with the Lord, the worship service needs to be a time where you can connect with the Lord and discover all He has for you.

In Christ,

Dan & Sharon Wilkie
